Clear in advance
Before you sign anything you know what you receive and what you repay.
Pawning and pledging describe the same arrangement from two sides: you pawn your watch or jewellery, we take it as a pledge. You leave it as security for a while and receive money straight away. You stay the owner and buy it back within the agreed term. Below is what it costs and how it works.
In pawning you give your watch or jewellery as security for a while and receive money straight away. You pay 4.5% a month on the amount you receive and buy it back, as a rule, within 2 months. That term is a guideline, not a hard limit. There is no maximum: the amount depends on the value. We take both luxury watches and jewellery.
Selling is not always what you want. Sometimes you need money briefly and want to keep your watch or jewellery. Then you pawn it: you leave it with us as security, you receive money, and as soon as you repay the sum borrowed with the fee you get it back. That applies to luxury watches and to jewellery.
In everyday use the two words mean the same. They describe the same arrangement from two sides: you pawn your watch, we take it as a pledge. So whether you search for "pawn a watch" or "pledge a watch", you arrive at the same service. On this page we use both words side by side.
Every brand of luxury watch, from Rolex and Omega to Cartier, Breitling, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet and Hublot. With or without box and papers, and with no minimum value. Besides watches you can pawn jewellery with us too. Put it to us and we will let you know what is possible.
We look at brand, model, reference, year, condition and completeness, exactly as we do when buying. Beni assesses every watch himself. The better the case that can be made, the higher the amount we can responsibly pay out.
Pawning costs money and selling brings money in. If you are sure you will not wear the watch again, selling is almost always the better deal. If you are undecided, or you simply do not need the watch for a while, pawning is the flexible route. We do both, so you do not have to choose yet.
Everything at a glance, with no small print. You know in advance exactly what you repay.
Both produce money, but the outcome is entirely different. If you sell, the watch is gone; if you pawn it, it stays yours.
