The idea was a piece of jewellery you could not simply take off: the bracelet closes with two screws and only opens with a screwdriver, which comes with it as standard. Cipullo was referring to the medieval chastity belt, but as a promise of love rather than as constraint. In the nineteen-seventies the bracelet was sold in New York only to couples, with one fastening it on the other.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eRose gold\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn rose gold the bracelet has a warmer tone than the classic yellow gold version and stands out less against the skin.
